Jose Chaires — Associate
Jose Chaires is an accomplished federal real estate professional with over four years of specialized experience in leasing and project management for government entities throughout Northern California. Jose has facilitated more than 100,000 rentable square feet (RSF) of lease transactions, providing services to a range of federal agencies.
Jose brings a unique combination of discipline and technical skill acquired during more than eight years of service in the United States Air Force, both on active duty and in the reserves. Stationed at Cannon AFB, New Mexico, Jose supported mission-critical operations for Air Force Special Operations as an Electrical Power Production Journeyman, earning the Joint Service Achievement Medal for outstanding performance during deployment to Bagram, Afghanistan.
After transitioning to the reserves at Beale AFB, Jose continued his education at Santa Clara University, graduating cum laude from the Leavey School of Business. This military background instilled a steadfast commitment to reliability, adaptability, and operational excellence—qualities that now underpin Jose’s achievements in commercial real estate and government-related projects.
Prior to joining Carpenter/Robbins, Jose managed a portfolio of more than 20 ongoing projects with the U.S General Services Administration (GSA), overseeing $16 million in contracts and mentoring junior staff.
