Nicholas spent several years in accounting working for a CPA firm and did internal accounting for a real estate investment company. Prior to joining Carpenter/Robbins, Nicholas spent five years in a variety of roles within the real estate industry in both the residential and commercial arenas. His roles ranged from property management, operational services, founding the business development department and was part of the team that pursued new investment ventures within the real estate industry.
One of the more successful ventures was to identify underperforming office space within the company’s portfolio and convert them into smaller offices spaces which could be used by individuals or companies on a short-term basis. Nicholas was a key player in what is still a very successful company.
Nicholas transitioned into the position of the Leasing Manager where he managed over 720,000 square feet of office, retail, and warehouse space. Nicholas was responsible for all leasing activity, this included: lease negotiations, lease renewals, property tours, tenant improvement oversight, and project management.
